Juliet & Romeo

Shakespeare’s greatest love story, as you’ve never seen, or heard, before… The world’s most famous lovers turn the tides on history as we know it, in this star-studded, visionary movie-musical.

Synopsis

Set from 1301 to 1303, the iconic duo find themselves central figures in the birth of the Italian Renaissance and the wars that would end the Middle Ages, in an epic journey of battles and betrayal. Leaving the poetry of iambic pentameter in the past, their tragic romance unfolds with original pop music from GRAMMY-Winner, Evan Kidd Bogart (Beyonce’s “Halo” / Rihanna’s “SOS”) rocketing the story’s themes right to the heart of our characters in the most surprising, and perhaps most powerful way ever to be imagined.

From writer-director Timothy Scott Bogart (Spinning Gold / Last Full Measure), three-time Oscar-Winning Production Designer, Dante Ferretti (Hugo / The Aviator / Gangs Of New York), this innovative twist on the Shakespearean classic features an incredible cast including Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect / JoJo Rabbit), Rupert Everett (My Best Friend’s Wedding / the Shrek franchise), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter franchise / The White Lotus), Rupert Graves (Sherlock / Emma), Tony Award-winner, Dan Fogler, (A Complete Unknown / Fantastic Beasts franchise), and Derek Jacobi (Gladiator II / The King’s Speech).

Clara Rugaard (Love Gets A Room / Black Mirror) and Jamie Ward (His Dark Materials / Tyrant), bring the Star-Crossed Lovers to life, with Ferdia Walsh-Peelo (Coda/ Vikings), Nicholas Podany (Saturday Night Live / Hello, Tomorrow) and GRAMMY Award-winners, Tayla Parx and Ledisi, rounding out the all-star cast.
